From the Quran:
“Do they never reflect on the camels and how they were created, and on the sky, how it is raised aloft, and on the mountains, how they are firmly set up, and on the earth, how it is spread out?” (88: 17-20)
Upon your back
You carry the burden
Of admiration and kindness
Adorned in amethysts
Garnished with gold
Protected by porcelain
You are a nurturer
Comforting the divine child
Within our hearts
You see the beauty
And the youth within
Spectators of your glance
Apparition of a goddess
Symbolizing the fertility
Of our desire to stay young
Sometimes guarding those
Desperate for warmth
Upon this territorial tundra
Your maternal instincts are craved
For you are the giver
Who guarded the offspring
Protected the potential
For a league of sages
Preparing to lead the exodus
Pondering the creation
of sacred geometry and hieroglyphics
within eight lanes of a double helix
