Grad School
I’ve been extremely busy with grad school recently and it is stressful. I’ve been taking Renaissance and Restoration Lit and it’s more than I bargained for. I have three weeks left and then I’ll have some freedom.

“Lost & Found” by Michel M. Antoine
Sealey Challenge #13
The next book I am including in this challenge is from a woman I’ve gotten to know well through the ii Publishing family. I was fortunate to get to know her and be part of her IG Live release of “Lost & Found” We also performed on the same bill at the NYC Poetry Festival. Her voice and candor are amazing and she is all around a very kind person to boot. Whether you are lost, searching, or found, you will enjoy this book. Tonii Langhorne (Tonii2Eyes), the man behind ii Publishing, believes that poetry should create an experience and surely, you will have one reading “Lost & Found”.
“Introspectrum” by R.Sen
I met R.Sen at the NYC Poetry Festival this year and fell in love with her words. I have a personal anecdote in which the two of us and my friend Yael did a ritual to bring love and protection to Britney Spears. She is truly a class act and her writing deserves a lot of attention. In addition, we have the same publisher (ii Publishing). Shout out to my fam!!!!!!

Sealey Challenge # 25
Tonii Langhorne AKA Tonii2Eyes is what is called an Entreprepoet. He is a go-getter who infuses poetry in every venture he creates. He is also the head of ii Publishing, the company putting together my upcoming full-length book of poetry. The book is especially beautiful since the pages are black with white writing. Well worth checking out. The man is a visionary.

Anthems (From Grimoire)

Drunk and high upon the mountains
Remembering when pine needles
Surrounded my feet and
Injected the air with bliss
The wind comforts me
As the sun descends and
Rings the bells of a new night
I am alert in my surveillance
Under this ash tree
Which continues to stand
For ages to come
Solid as the souls I embody
Liquid as emotions invoked by ancestors
Gaseous as my dreams
I must remind myself
That I’m not alone
In this paradigm of slow animation
My walls have doors I rarely lock
And the music of warriors
Are anthems sung
To soothe the savage
Affirmed by the holy
Affirmed by the gold
Affirmed by the copper
Affirmed by the light
Affirmed by the songs
Affirmed by the lyre
My moisture is depleting
My goods and wares diminished
My prayers are solitary
My city is barren
Sought refuge in this cave
Where I control the wind
From my palms
I replenish these salty waters
The paths which lead to them
Now clearly marked
And as a wizard
I know I am good
And that the walls
To my temple
Are open
Affirmed by the holy
Affirmed by the gold
Affirmed by the copper
Affirmed by the light
Affirmed by the songs
Affirmed by the lyre
These anthems appeal to the royal
These anthems appeal to the peasant
These anthems appeal to the ancient
These anthems appeal to the embryonic
I am far from the last poet
To scribe the hymns of divinity
Even among damnation
I reserve my lips for angels
And I will not forget
Any day I left a prayer
Where the alchemy
Did not progress
Affirmed by the holy
Affirmed by the gold
Affirmed by the copper
Affirmed by the light
Affirmed by the songs
Affirmed by the lyre
This is my unofficial anthem
To a world on a morphine drip
Addicted to a construct of time
Perpetually accelerating in retrograde
